Her debut as an actor occurred in 2001 when she was requested to feature in the Australian Soap opera Home and Away where she played a small role in two episodes of the series. The casting agent wished to have her play one of the leading characters. Though she was able to audition for the role, it was not chosen. The role was instead set on the show as Cassie Turner.
