Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American performer, actress and song writer. Most people know her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. Although she's a singer however, her passion for music. At the age of 9 of age, she was dabbling into music. As she grew to the age of 12 her music began to take more serious form and she began professional training. The year 2013 saw her take the plunge into songwriting and made her first album. From then on she's not been back. Orrantia was born in the USA and yet she is of Hispanic roots. While she has never lived in or spoke Spanish in Mexico However, she is extremely proud of her Hispanic roots. To preserve the heritage, she is learning Spanish. Also, she writes songs based on the Spanish language. One of her songs was the creation of a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the X Factor's inaugural season during the summer of 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she received four "yeses", or votes for the judges during The Seattle audition. Though she initially auditioned in a single performance in "Hollywood Week", she and three female performers were put into groups for the remaining part in the selection process. They were eliminated during the 5th week in the Live performance.
