Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the United States. She is primarily an actress, but also a songwriter and singer. A lot of people recognize her from her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television "The Goldbergs.' Even though she sings but her main passion is music. She says that music was always her first love. As she grew to the age of 12, her music began to take on a serious nature and she started training professionally. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was 14 when she recorded her debut album of covers songs. Since then there has been no looking back. Orrantia was born in the USA but has Hispanic origins. She has Hispanic roots even though she spoke English when a young girl and her whole life was in the USA. She endeavours to maintain it through studying Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. One of her efforts was an original Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was selected to audition for the first season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia got the X Factor's four "yeses" to the judges in the Seattle live auditions after getting selected based on her YouTube submission. She was originally an individual performer. However, in the course of "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were placed in an ensemble to go through the auditions. They were eliminated in the 5th week during the live performance.
