Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. She has been acclaimed by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). She was raised by an artistic family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in artistic fields. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. She received an award called the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international success, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies, she received the title of top female box-office start around the globe. In 1972, her footprints along with her signature were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV series The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw is divorced three times.
